We are a truly international team, with members in multiple countries. Manufacture of the hardware is in Bangladesh, app and cloud development is in France. Our servers are, for the time being, in Ireland and the USA.
No. Videos are stored in your private cloud account for safety. You can also allow access to the recordings to friends, family, and the authorities when necessary. By maintaining the videos on your own private cloud, you ensure the integrity of the evidence and remove the opportunity for video or audio to be tampered with.
Yes, Keocam is designed to be used legally in public spaces in most countries. WE CAN NOT OFFER LEGAL ADVICE. We do advise that you check the laws in your country. But as a rule of thumb, if dashcams in cars are legal, then it is likely Keocam is legal as well. Our cloud service is private and does not allow transmission to a broader "unknown" audience (friends, family, and the authorities being trusted and known). If you were to copy your recordings and place them on public sites such as YouTube or Facebook, this would be against our advice and at your own risk.
No. We provide the cloud service, which is encrypted to your account. No one is able to access your account and view the videos on your account without your permission.
Yes, Keocam is designed to be versatile and suitable for various environments. It is IP57, meaning it can withstand moderate rain, snow, and dust conditions. It is not designed to be submerged in water. It can operate at low temperatures of 0 degrees and highs of 50 degrees.
